PRIVACY

Public signals, deliberate boundaries.

Catalume's public scanner is designed to observe public storefront surfaces without asking for shopper credentials or shopper data.

Public scanner

A URL-only scan may read public pages and reachable commerce metadata. Password-protected stores receive a diagnostic rather than a bypass. Public results are coarse and watermarked.

Merchant data

Installed workflows may process catalog, policy, and mission evidence to provide the requested product features. Access is scoped to the merchant's authorization and governed by the app's operational contracts.

AI providers

Product and policy data used for mission processing may be sent to configured OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Perplexity API providers under the provider terms selected for the service. Catalume does not use shopper PII as a mission input; provider retention and training controls are documented and reviewed as part of deployment.
